Channels of communication: telephones, radios & televisions use frequency bands for the transmission and reception of signals. Computers use channels to transfer data in real time. Things get done through official channels and need a reliable channel for information. Any gesture, action, sound, written or spoken word, or visual image transmits a channel of thought.
